Feds are digging into my business records

I run a mid sized consultancy and last week we got a subpoena for financial records going back five years. Nobody has been charged with anything yet, but my general counsel looks nervous and honestly I am too. I think I need someone who deals specifically with this kind of federal investigation before this spirals. How do you even find the right lawyer for something this serious?

Do not let your staff talk to federal agents without counsel present, even the ones who think they have nothing to hide. A friendly conversation with investigators can turn into a witness statement against the company before anyone realizes what happened, and that damage is almost impossible to undo.

You are smart to move on this before any formal charges drop, because the pre indictment phase is where a strong defense can shut things down quietly. A seasoned white collar criminal defense attorney is exactly who handles these federal probes, take a look at this firm https://arkadybukhlawfirm.com/practice-areas/criminal-defense-white-collar-crimes/ . Once an indictment lands the leverage shifts heavily, so having a specialist in your corner right now changes the entire trajectory of the case.
