Hi folks, greeting you from the east coast! The other night I was half-awake, flipping through recommended links on a news aggregator, and ended up here. Normally, I get overwhelmed by too many flashy sites, but this one had a calmer structure that let me focus on what mattered — the world stories themselves. Reading about events across Europe or Asia while looking out over the flat Fenland landscape makes me appreciate the link between local quietness and global noise.
