Found my old profile text. It follows, with some updates:

Okay. So I have a bit more time, though not much less exhaustion now and perhaps I'll attempt something better for this. It's still very strange though to go on about oneself like this – a bit of an exercise in vanity. I digress. (Rambly me goes off point often, but this is to be expected.)

I'm an old soul, though, so perhaps senility might excuse this 24-year-old? I know not. I was until very recently a student, which feels a bit odd because I very nearly finished -- but then realised there were very different things I should have been studying and onto them I leapt! I'm not sure how smart that was, but I find this all more interesting. It's an inconvenience of sorts, but I find I'm exploring things that captivate me.

I like having that all out of the way, though life at the moment seems a bit like facing the Netflix homepage with no particular leaning among the innumerable choices.

I really like talking to people at random and getting to know them; when you move a lot, you figure out how to know quite quickly whether or not you'll 'click' with a given person.

I love old things, be they books or films or clothes. I often wander down side streets and think about what they've seen; with no one in them, they often feel like things I'm looking at in the past.

I'd be hard-pressed to name a favourite writer, or film, or tv show or anything like that -- but I welcome the discussion because it reveals so much. My tendency is to wander and to explore and to confine that only to physical journeying seems to be quite a waste.
